Golden Oldie is a Rebellion elderly club where they can explore how to use makeup to express themselves. We define natural beauty as an attitude rather than a physical appearance. We hope to foster a rebellious attitude in the elderly, encouraging them to challenge societal norms and expectations surrounding ageing and beauty.

Our retail space is designed around rebellion and is comfortable for the elderly. We reference a traditional Japanese festival as a design element in outdoor public spaces. However, we have brought the festivities indoors with a design that includes a garden area as a gathering spot for the elderly to socialize.
