This is a year 1 group project in collaboration with the London Transport Museum. We imagine a future in London where transport systems evolve into living ecosystems through a three-year programme for teenagers themed around underground, waterways, and aerial systems. The first year, we focused on the Underground, designing a speculative experience for teenagers to explore the hidden movement beneath the city.
I contributed to the research, visual mapping, and storytelling, developing diagrams and storyboards that shaped the narrative of this future world. After the project, I created an artifact called the Mushroom Radio—a speculative device that connects participants to underground stories through mycelium-inspired design. It aims to enhance the event experience and deepen audience engagement.
UX / UI Design for the programme
Mushroom Radio
A speculative interactive artefact, the Mushroom Radio, reimagines fungi as future communicators. Developed using a MIDI controller, it allows users to generate sound through touch, replacing passive QR code interactions with a more immersive and playful experience.
